I love your jewelry! Leah just showed me this site the other night.
And yeah i think she does have other songs that are good. Leah was saying that she has some . . . i just love listening to her voice so i bet anything she sings is good!
Hi! You asking about wire for the findings tutorial I had online...You can make headpins and findings with full, half hard and soft wires. It really does depend on your preference. I primarily use scraps for my headpins so sometimes they are half hard and sometimes they are soft. (Have you tried other metals? Gold fill, copper, brass?) Gold fill is only a copper or metal covered in the 14k gold so if you were to try to melt it into the headpin it would probably either not melt or turn out with a plain metal colored tip…probably melt the gold coating right off. That would be a good experiment though. Copper can be done but you would need a propane torch as it takes a hotter flame to melt it. You can also use Fine Silver which will not have the black soot caused on the SS by the butane torch. That would eliminate the soak mentioned in step 5. I’ve never tried brass, it also may be that it needs to be a hotter flame such as the copper...but let me know if you do and how it turns out! =)
I would have to say that my favorite one...even though I like them and secretly want them all....would have to be the small green ones that are on the seashell! SO FUN! love the blog!
Heidi, I love your site. You really have been busy! I cannot believe how 'reasonably' priced your stuff is. Love where you take pics of the jewelry. The turquoise ones are still my fav
heidi, love that you made your own blog of your jewelry. I just started a shop on etsy with the baby stuff I make. did you add the "buy" thingy on top with google checkout? maybe I should start a blog dedicated to me shop too. I don't know if I have the time. I love the red ones with lots of hoops (sorry I forgot what they were called). oh and you can check out my family blog at www.the-ins-hyder.blogspot.com and my etsy shop at www.cutiepatootieshop.etsy.com. I want to learn how to make earrings too, was it hard to learn? do you recommed any sites to learn from? what tools and supplies should I buy?
If you are interested in purchasing any of the jewelry or would like to have some made especially for you. You can contact me at www.keidijewelry@gmail.com . All earrings featured on the blog are 5 -10$ mostly on the lower range considering this is mostly a hobby.

I love all of them. Emerald green is my favorite color on jewelry so you can't go wrong there!
